WES, SHOW ME THE PICTURES, Auction is a Go, Step up Dirtbags

Post by wirednut »

Surely some of you posers can skip enough latte's for a few months to step up to the plate and make this auction work.

I threw down an offer, now lets play chicken you no count loser unemployables.

hell yeah will.. having wes take some shots will definitely pay off. i might might might try to save it all for a bid on germany.. or, if not a bid, just a damn ticket over there some other time this fall ;) but the deal they're offering really is unbeatable.
and great loves will one day have to part -smashing pumpkins

Coolness. I am psyched that someone is looking at doing this. Should be a fun day, and I will do my best to get you plenty of good shots on whatever routes you want. Even visit several crags if you wanted. And, Will, I might even be up for a trip to the new if you wanted...

I'm looking forward to doing it at the Red actually. Its a great idea and I'll definitely be bringing babes who are waay more photogenic than me too. You should pimp it over on rc.com a little bit more.

The auction needs a link to the front page??

If you're at the auction and click on the Red River Climbing symbol top left, that'll take you to the front page. Or you can click on "Forum Index" under the logo and get to the forum. Is that what you mean?

The day is up to the winning bidder. Since there is no bouldering in the red, a day of bouldering and/or bouldering photography would have to be somewhere else, which would be cool with me. Just have to work out the details.

Oh, and it doesn't have to be just one person - a group could all go in on the bidding, etc. I have plenty of CF cards, so no worries.

Will, sounds cool to me for sure. I would still like to get to the new sometime this spring, just haven't done all that much there, even though I love that style of climbing.

Wes, just let me know when you want to come to the New. I have a apt. there, you're welcome to visit sometime.

Michelle, sorry I meant a link ON the front page TO the auction, that's all :)

Much as I admire Wes's photography skills, I wonder if even he could make me look good. What we need is another auction where a sexy person auctions off the oppurtunity to have theirself photographed, that way someone could bid on a subject as well as a photographer!!
