Okay, who do we hit up? We've talked about 'em but let's start a list.
I think we should hit up Liz Claiborne. Just bought Prana, ya know?
Thoughts?

Subaru--especially if we are hitting the mountain biking aspect.
How much do you think the retail-clothing stores get hit...like EMS or REI?

One word of caution as a lesson learned from the coalition past....
If we are going to target coorporate sponsers they need to be somewhat local corporate entities. The Access fund targets national/global climbing companies so when we hit up their people (Petzl, Black Diamond, etc.) we essentially are stepping on their toes. The Access Fund got a little miffed at us because of that a couple years ago. That's their ballgame and we should stay out of their way. Now, when we have personal contacts (Tackett and MGear) then there's no way we shouldn't engage them and see if it would be a problem.
I like Morgain's ideas of Hinkle Construction, John's Run Walk, Phillip Gall's and the other local businesses. It's also important to remember our 501 (c)(3) is still not on the books so a lot of companies will hesitate to drop cash before we have that tax ID. Unfortunately, it's the gubment so there's no way to rush that. Now, making contacts and fact finding with them should be cool but keep that in mind.
I'm a PM always looking for the risks, sorry about that.
