New area in Muir - Trenchtown

Saw a sign for this area last weekend when I was heading to Sunny Side. just curious about what routes are up there and when this area will be open to climbing.

There is one route up there right now (Mayday?). More routes will be added (and updated on the online guide - which then officially opens the wall to climbing).

Isn't there a bouldering area in the gorge called trenchtown?

yeah dude we went there a couple winters ago. It's way the hell out on the now destroyed forest road that takes you out to Pistol Ridge. Not really worth the drive.

I think there is a town in Jamaica called Trenchtown. 8)

Actually Trenchtown is right by the steel bridge. I think you may be thinking about Junkyard.

Trenchtown really sucks too.
