Man, I don't know of anyone locally. We send ours out to Dave Page Cobbler
http://www.davepagecobbler.com He has a really fast turn around and does quality resoles.

Is it less expensive to resole than to purchase new ones?

Depends on the deal you can get on new shoes. Normally, a new pair can cost over $100 so a $35 resole is worth it. But if you can score a deal on a new pair, that would be my choice.

I've had a pair resoled at
www.yosemitebum.com and they did a good job. They have a special going right now. $15 for a resole.

Isn't Keith Moll still doing resoles?

I have used The Rubber Room for resoles a bunch of times - they make resoles better than new. Their price is competetive. The turn around isn't too bad either.

I wouldn't send a pair of shoes to the Rubber Room if you hope to see them again within the next 100 years.
