Everyone OK?

Post by Wes »

I know a few climber people from the area, and hope everyone is all accounted for and well.

This was the first non-climbing epic I was a part of-- we were out there for a show/battle, and we had to duck into a Sleep Inn for about an hour to get off the road while it passed, but we're fine. I called Leah Saturday night, and I'll post up when I hear from her.

Wow, glad you are OK. I think Leah, Andy, the other Wes, and Christian are all from around there. Would be good to hear that they are OK. And if they need anything.

Anyone else see the two destroyed trees at the Rest Area in Slade? Two big beautiful colorful trees...split right down the middle. :(

Shit Ho, you can see right through me. Yes, we had to "duck in," not "duck into," like I'd said. I wish I wasn't such a compulsive liar.

Also, Leah and her family are okay. =)

Yeah I am good. I started a new topic before I saw this thread. Could someone move my post in the new thread here and eliminate the topic "tornado" I started?
It is very sad. The deaths mostly occurred at a mobile home park on SE side of town. Of the 21 deaths all but one happened to occupants of mobile home.

I read that two of the deaths were a young boy and his grandmother ... that makes me very sad. I'm glad you're okay, Christian.
