i have not done this route. i assume you are talking about a route at one of the small wall areas (i forget which). anyway i think a friend of mine did it and he said there was a section that was totally unprotectable and super scary. i am not sure about this though. good luck.

I love the description for The Quest ! Sounds sorta like the way I would describe some of the OW's I been on.

Hmm...interesting amount of feedback.

I've always heard good things about it and had full intentions of getting on it, I just never did.

I've heard its pretty heady.

Tried it as a Gumby but got my ass kicked 20 feet off the ground trying to stick the handjam you throw to. I heard it's not too bad until the roof up top. Bronaugh told me that.

Heard from someone that it has lots of bad rock on it and that Tom Souders only ever climbed it twice saying it wasn't all that good.

i heard it broke off after mike.jones sent it in sneakers. didn't place a single piece other than a bong he wedged behind a tree root. he rapped down..

I just left Toms shop....and heres what he had to say...

"I think its pretty terrible. The cool part is the first 20 feet. We cleaned a bunch of shit off of it, but theres still a bunch of shit on it. I just think it sucks."
