I mean FUCK. Two el cap routes free in less then 24 hours? 60+ pitches? 5.14 climbing, 5.11OW, v7 bouldering? That is fucking incredible beyond words. Makes you think how totally weaksauce you are with your "big" 10 pitches of 5.11/5.12 cragging days.

That is one amazing feat of prowess. I wish I could come within a mile of that. I met someone who just got off Freerider and he's out of commission with severe tendonitis after a week of battle on the one route.

Stewy, it wouldn't matter if you could climb every day. That level of climbing takes way more then just free time. I know it might be tough for some of you all to wrap your mind around how big a deal this is, but it probably the bigest climbing story of the year. The only think I can think of that a person could do to equal it in the red, would be to send every route at the 'load in a day.

Just climbing the Nose free is a feat in itself. Besides the obvious innate talent that Tommy & Beth possess, such a feat is the result of their total dedication. I was fortunate enough to have met and spoken with both of them in Estes after a premier of one of their videos. The next day they were packing up and heading back to the Valley. They are tow of the most incredible and inspiring individuals in our sport.

that is so sick. i can't imagine the focus...,

one week you match the previous greatest acheivement in climbing, the next you shatter it by doing something arguably twice as hard. damn!!!!!!!

if anyone had any doubts about that kid before they should be gone now.

Wow! What a feat! It was neat reading, especially since the author belayed him on this epic and could mention specific details from the climb. I liked the end when he wrote: "I can't imagine what someone with so much talent will do next."
Neither can I... and I wouldn't want to. I love the surpise of reading about some new super human feat that I wouldn't have even imagined doing, more or less that it was possible.

wow that's unreal. 60+ pitches of hard free climbing in a day. That is just amazing to think of the fitness required for that kind of effort. That will be way hard to top, hehe, unless you did in fact climb every route at the lode in a day that would be more difficult I think.
