Black Diamonds version of the TCU http://www.bdel.com/gear/c3.php looks nice.

I saw those the other day...looks like they'll place in a lot of places TCU's and aliens won't...

They do have a uniquely narrow head but they are also hella stiff.
They'll walk like a mofo unless you put a runner on them. Maybe they will have softer plastic for the stem when they go to production.

I think cams walk when the system gets wiegthted. Doesnt seem to matter how much runner. The C3s look cool but I wish manufacturers would adopt a universal color code. You know ,like in electronics.

used some prototype c3s over the summer. tried like hell to break them and couldn't. won/t replace aliens, a tcu never could. these will fit smaller spots but 3 lobes don't set well in flaring placements such as pin scars where aliens shine.

In theory, a good idea. Unfortunately, each manufacturer has slightly different sizes and ranges so it would cause problems trying to assign a color to a certain size.

No it wouldnt. fingers yellow, hands green, fists blue. you get the idea. nothing hard about it.

depends on who's finger, hands and fists we are talking about.
