I'm just starting out leading trad, looking for some recomendations for easier 5.8 trad, or some that take gear easily. i don't have any problem climbing 5.8, but my gear placement is still kinda slow so i'm looking for some relaxed leads in the 5.8 range to get more experience. thanks

Decays way isn't worth hanging a rope on to have it chewed up. It eats rope.

ynot, is that your comment on dog days? the one about whippers and hard work?
I'm still looking for relaxed stuff to practice gear placement, i can take whippers any time i want. I'll definitely get up and try it, but i may wait a little while on that one.
But seriously, I thank all of you, the routes you've mentioned look like some great ones and i wanna climb em all.
Arachnid looks pretty intimidating by the pic in the guidebook too. but i've been wanting to try it, just need to build the confidence to go for it. btw how's the gear on arachnid, is it easy to place or do you have to really hunt for good placements?

I know I am a noob but if you are leading 5.8 on sport shouldn't you start out leading easier stuff on trad?
