It seems to me that if there were any robustness to the theory of evolution, Mars and Venus should be teeming with life. Probably the gas giants, too, and most of their larger moons.

There's a species of bedbug (Xylocaris maculipennis) that stab-rapes other males. A male of this species may be assaulted by another male while he is copulating (doing it) with a female. The rapist's sperm is injected into the recipient. The sperm migrates into his blood to his testes where it is then pumped out of the poor raped bedbug's penis into the female. A backstabbing gay rapist bedbug! Who would have thought of that? God? Now that is an intelligent design!

I know there are a FEW atheists who have fun and are genuinely fine human beings... until somebody mentions the thing atheists don't believe in... then THEY turn into zealous (damnit... need to rid this pseudo-religious term from my vocabulary), sarcastic, closed minded bigots just like the idiot religious people they despise.

further, if you were offended about my generalizations of atheists, consider your own generalizations about believers. we're all big hypocrites if you ask me.

Won't be convinced of what? Evolution? Either way, no need to look far, in fact, forget the planets, take Europa and Titan. What rich environments for the possibility of life: liquid water, complex molecules, good tidal forces. Maybe there is life there and we haven't discovered it. Odd, though, if Darwin was right about life scratching and clawing and speciating it's way to the top that those moons aren't a virtual zoo.
