I'm making my first trip to the red next month. I usually travel with my dog. Are there prohibitions against dogs at any of the crags that make up the red? I did check with the hotel (little abners), and they were fine with it.
Thanks,
Scott

Nope, lots of dogs around. Be sure to keep them on leash when at Muir and Torrent at all times. And it is a good idea to have a leash ready for them if they start cause trouble at any of the other crags.

What's a ball gag and how does a muzzle keep them from barking?

I love to take my dog to the red. Just obey the usual leash laws and everything will be fine.

There will proably be a dog at every crag you go to. FYI your dog would proably have a better time staying at Migels than Little Abners, and since it is your first time its a great place to hang out with other climbers. Food kicks ass too.
