Rocktoberfest T-shirt opinions

Post by diggum »

This is a serious poll people. I need some feedback. Please don't waste my time w/ stupid responses...or should I say, please waste as little of my time as possible with as few stupid responses as possible?

My thoughts:
I have to do these things in one color.. The simpler the design I can come up with, the better. Detailed drawings in one color are extremely difficult and come out looking uber busy.

I like simple on the front...sponsors & event stuff on the back.

Why do they have to be one-color?

are you serious about being able to create a t-shirt of leitterhosen-wearing midgets drinking beer? if so, i'm pretty sure that is the obvious choice.

Sorry, but this doesn't seem to be much of a poll at all. You're asking people to vote on a design decision that really doesn't exist. In fact, you seem to have set the parameters already. Perhaps the poll should be, if in fact you are looking for feedback, "Is anyone willing to pay 2 dollars more for an extra color?" or "The profits go to xyz organization, how about their logo on the sleeve?" or "Would anyone be interested in sweatshirts?" or "I'm thinking about a line drawing of abc crag, but would a photographic representation be better?" or "Is everybody going to be happy just to see a new and different design than has been used the last few years?" There really isn't enough information for any kind of input here. Just my opinion, so please don't take it as an attack, but perhaps constructive criticism. NOTE Don't get involved with art (any kind) if not prepaered for criticism and critique.

Ahhh. So it really isn't a serious poll or request for input at all. Sometimes I just don't read between the lines.

In any case, maybe start planning for next year a little earlier and perhaps there will be options.

defender, I'm not sure I know you but yes...I was looking for FEEDBACK. I think I stated that in my first post.

Yes...I can do the line drawings, but I really don't want to b/c 1. I'm not gettin paid for this. 2. I have a 50+ hour a week regular job 3. I have a toddler at home 4. I'm training for a marathon 5. This event is only 3 weeks away (so basically I don't have time)

You don't have the option of paying an extra 2 bucks per shirt b/c i didn't give you that option...or any of the other ones you pulled out your ass. You have the option of having something simple that I can do well & fast or something busy that would be rushed & might not end up looking that good.

Not taking it as an attack but more that you have no idea what you're talking about & should probably just shut up.

Maybe you'd like to donate your time & get started on those?
