well only until you realize it's all true. I still believe it's better to laugh than to hurl yourself off a building because it's all so depressing. Oh, or cry.

Thank goodness that our dear semi-elected administration has stopped paying attention to Habeas Corpus, it's soooo Magna Carta. Just think, what would happen if our government was to actually charge people with crimes and have open trials? They'd get access to lawers, they wouldn't be haded off to other countries for torture, er, I mean iterrogation, and someone might read that silly Constitution thing. Crazy! China and Burma might start feeling ashamed, or at least uncomfortable, about how they treat people, and we can't have that!
No, no. Much better to emulate fine examples like Turkey, oh wait, they just abolished the death penalty. Never mind. How about we imitate that country just west of Iran! Their goverment just held a sort-of election where the oil+military administration was 're-elected'. They have the death penalty, they're very law-and-order, they mix religion and politics whenever it suits the leaders. Perfect! Somebody tell Little Bush to make America more like that country west of Iran, what's it called?
