Have gas prices affected what you plan on doing on the 3 day weekend?
I was going to drive down to the Red this weekend, but then I realized that it would cost $170 in gas.

Yup. Was going to Boone and play on pebbles. Now just going to Knoxville and play there with Hannah. 8)
Still glad I get 26+mi/gal on the highway.

The difference between 2.50 and 3.10 is .60 cents. Not sure how far you all are driving, but to get to boone, that is an extra $20.00 or so. Split two or three ways, it is one less pitcher of 420, or just sack up a bit.

Look for a cheap flight to Louisville and then hitch a ride!
A friend of ours was going to meet us in the Red for the weekend, but decided not too due to the sky rocketing gas prices.
Gas just stinks right now.
It used to cost me $7 in gas to get to the Red, but now that will probably only cover one way! We're going up anyways. Atleast double the gas cost for us is only another $7.

even though it wont cost a whole lot for me - i'm going to try and not buy gas until after the weekend. my truck is half full and my civic was filled about a month ago when i drove it last. am parking the 4wd for a bit though. I jus' feel that if we could buy less gas than usual the demand would drop and so would the market price. so - i probably wont go to the red this weekend as i had planned. i'll be on my bicycle a good bit for the next few days.

It's not affecting my trip, but I am reconsidering the car I was hoping to buy here shortly.

Whether there will be planty of gas to buy seems is a concern, although I don't know if that's something that may be a problem or not.

I'm drving north to visit family and I will just have to sack in up. Time for America to live in to reality with gas prices. Now we are pay what most of the world has been paying for a long time.
