Anyone going to the OBED trail day on the 10th?

for those who might be interested here is the announcment for OBED ADOPT A CRAG trail day . . .

Hey hey

The date for the 6th annual Access Fund Adopt a Crag Day at the Obed has been set for September 10 2005. Please mark your calendars to come out and work with us to improve and preserve your favorite crag.

Date: September 10, 2005

Time: 10:00 am until ~

Schedule: 10:00 am meet at Del and Marti’s to get work assignment and demo shoes from Red Chili
10:30 am - 2:00 pm work
2:00 pm - 2:30 pm lunch
2:30 pm - 6:00 pm finish work and climb
6:30 pm - announcements, burritos, beverages, and fun

Meeting Place: (before and after) and center of operations will be at Del and Marti’s Lilly Pad.

Supplies: Each volunteer will responsible for their own lunch and water, also please bring tools (branch snippers, shovels, gloves, chainsaws, etc.).

Last year's achievements:
1. Rebolting of routes / anchors at South Clear Creek and Y-12
2. Clearing of trail to South Clear, West Obed and Tierany
3. Trash pick up along the roads of the Obed
4. Trail maintenance / improvement at the boulderfield

This year's projects are currently being negotiated with the Park Service and have not been finalized, so if you have any recommendation please send me an E-mail.

Parking: There is only limited parking is available at the Lilly Pad so please park and south clear and take the short trail to the fun.

Other stuff:
1. There will be cool prizes and a silent auction for other cool stuff (thank you sponsors).
2. The ETCC will also be selling OBED bumper stickers and maybe shirts.
3. High School Climbing Coaches, please encourage your students to participate
