Hope you had a fun birthday weekend old man!

Remember, Asians don't show their age until they're REALLY REALLY old so you're safe for at least another coupla years.

thanks for the birthday wishes! back when i was 19 and had those that asked guess my age, about 3/4 of the time they guessed 26. what would you have guessed, now? :)

i had a great time playing pool and drinking for a few hours with a bunch of friends on saturday. it's been so long since i last played pool. it was even better that a friend, who used to play in leagues, gave me pointers! my game improved remarkably though it still has a long long way to go, yet.

and that same friend introduced me to Johnnie Walker Green Label. oh man that was smooth . i think i'm going to go this week and drop some coin on a bottle of JW Green and a bottle of JW Gold. JW Blue is probably out of my league--in both cost and my probable appreciation of it .

any other suggestions for a beginner whisky/bourbon/scotch whisky drinker? so far, i've JW Black, Knob, Maker's, Jack single barrel at home. i've liked Laphroig 10yr Full Cask Strength :). i didn't like Glenfiddich too much :?. i've heard good things of Macallan....

JW red was always my choice. A freind gave me a bottle of Dalmore for xmas once
It's really hard to find but it's first class sippin scotch. It lasted a long time. You get use to drinking scotch and no other whiskey tastes right. oh yea, go easy, the hangovers arent pleasant no matter how pricey the scotch.

yeah, remembered that on sunday when i woke up at 1pm and eventually made my way out of bed and into the shower around 4pm

though, that was mostly from Maker's, as the pool hall didn't carry Knob or good scotch.
