Anybody in Lexington have an old..slilghtly used, in good shape, no cooties...matress they are trying to get rid of? Jill and I are looking for padding for a wall and are in need of a couple of matresses.

Better yet, if anyone knows of, or is opening, a climbing gym in the next month or so please let me know. It'd save us the time and money of building one in our garage!

If you need any ideas on construction or anything, let me know. I still have all our old schematics.

Also, we *maybe* getting a new mattress soon and I'll give you our old one if we do.

The boldering barn in morehead had some nasty matresses in it. one night I landed and heard a death squeal and crunch of a mouse getting ground to nothing in the springs.

There is a factory in Mt. Sterling that manufactures the foam that goes inside of motorcycle helmets. They have lots of rejects that they sell to people to sell at flea markets. Ussually about $5 for a 4x8 sheet. I was only able to buy a couple from this guy at a flea market in Northern Kentucky before he died of Liver cancer. Double bummer.

I am sure that if you ask the right questions of the right people you could probably buy a truckload of the stuff for next to nothing!

Glean from carpet stores or installation companies... big sheets of carpet padding. Perfect. Accesorize with your fancy pad.

Thanks for the tips. Really need a couple of matresses, it would take too much foam to build up a good cusion for my tush to land on.
