ipods suck

Post by Andrew »

So I have been using my Ipod for about a month now and I love it, but when I turned it on today it showed a sad ipod icon on the screen and it won't work. When I plug it into my mac it won't recognize it and I have tried to reset it and I can't get it to reset. It won't do much of anything except look sad. I didn't drop it or anything.

Anyone offer some help.

Poor sad ipod. It's still under warranty...take it to the place you bought it from.

You might not be cool enough to own one. This might just be a sign of that...

Otherwise, sounds like you have a dead HD or something along those lines.

First, I would try synchronizing it on your PC/Mac. That may work.

Next,
Go back to an apple store.

I dropped mine (with apparent scratches) & it showed me me the sad apple....

I walked into the store, telling them it wasn't working & they fixed it, no questions asked--no receipt requested. They almost acted like they were competing to see who could solve the problem first.

I've been jamming away on mine ever since.

I got mine free with the car that my wife and I bought, so I am not sure if it has a warranty. I guess I will try to take it to a mac store and ask them whats up. It won't reset or go into disk mode.

i'd be supersurprised if you couldn't get it fixed. along with your car you'd think they'd have a warranty on it too. it was new, right? not refurbished?
I know that you believe that you understood what you think I said, but I am not sure you realize that what you heard is not what I meant.
