Large wasp nest on Snake

Post by Sco Bro »

FYI, there is a wasp nest about 50 feet up on Snake. The nest is a little larger than a baseball, it's right in the crack and full of wasp. I opted to down climb and clean the route rather than charge into battle.

Think the FS is trying to get rid of climbing by strategically placing wasps?

Yeah, that nest was set in the crack like it was made for it. VA, I'd suggest that you have Rhino gently move the nest to some less desirable crack. No need to crush or kill them, just move them.
