Bat camped out on Relaxed Atmosphere

Above the first bolt on Relaxed Atmosphere is a bomber/sinker three finger iron oxide pocket. It is currently the resident of a small bat with large teeth. I met him on Saturday, June 25, 2005. He was kind enough to let out a series of angry hisses and growls to let me now that my fingers were not welcome in his home. He didn't bite me, but that's probably because my high pitched shrieks of terror screwed up his sonar.

Please climb around the bat's three finger pocket if you get on Relaxed, there are other holds to use. The bat, his name is Franklin--we're on a first name basis now--let me off with a warning, but the next dumb human that sticks his or her fingers blindly into a hole might need a few months of rabies shots. So, climb around Franklin or climb elsewhere, please.

I don't fight or kill anything until it comes at me. Nope, only act in self defense.

Sco was brave in that he still climbed above him. he could have easily flown out of his home and taken a good whack at your nut-sack Sco. I am just glad I wasn't climbing. But everyone, Franklin seems to be nice so say hello and just climb on.

Great, after the Forest Service reads this then Relaxed Atmosphere will be closed. Good job...

Was it a baby bat or a grown bat? Because that could really be a sick bat if it was out during the day :?

there's a no camping rule within 100' of cliffline, so the bat better damn well vacate or face a steep fine.
