Best MCSE books

Post by SCIN »

My boss insists I get MCSE certified within the next six months. I'm wondering if anyone has any recommendations on which publisher has the best books for study. I don't like the ones put out by Microsoft.

I just used the exam cram ones. Not sure if they are still current, since it has been a couple years. But, they were great for the tests, gives you just the info you need to pass in a nice short book.

Look them up on Amazon.com and read the reviews people write. I find those pretty helpful when selecting books for my research.

If you work with the technology at all you won't have a problem. I got my MCSE with just experience and using the MCSE in a Nutshell books. I would bet that even if your background is in Unix/Linux that you could use those books and pass all of the tests pretty easy.
