so which is worse: a visit to the dentist or a trip to the auto repair shop?
right now, i'd have to say the auto repair shop. personally, i want to go in there with a big shit eating grin on my face and then take off my shirt so they can see the twenty bombs of c4 i have strapped to my chest and tell them to fix my car and like it.
anyone know any trustworthy mechanics in lexington? or if not, the nearest ammo bunker?

if it's a Toyota or Lexus (they may work on other cars) go to Lowell's...they are super awesome and sometimes you even end up paying less than they originally quote you for....super super work and reputation.

Mechanic, not too bad if you know what's wrong and can tell them what you want done.
Dentist, not too bad if you get some decent pharmaceuticals out of the deal.
Yeah, so I like to look on the positive side of things.
I got some recommendations depending on what's happening. Holla at me.

Go to Ashley's. It's down on Third Street. They're AWESOME.
Man LLR Lowell's hasn't been the best for awhile. I've heard some pretty bad things about them and our family used to be very loyal customers. Lowell allowed his slimy son to take over the business and it's been downhill ever since.

Sprag is right about Ashley's. They are super professional there and don't bullshit--but I've only bought tires and realignments there, too. If they put tires on your car they will rotate them free for the lives of the tires.

Toyota/Subaru - go to Perfect Auto, ask for Steve Hansel and tell them Jennibella sent you
VW/Audi - Fast Enough Performance, tell them Bram sent you
Can't go wrong with any of these guys

What's wrong? I can fix most things in the middle of Bowen back roads using parts from a random person's tool box...

changed oil on my cars yesterday - looks like an assembly line when i do that. Leaned on the radiator on my civic and it cracked away spewing warm anit-freeze all over me. In louisville i go to smith imports for work that i can't do myself, they do a great job.

oh i normally deal with Mama Bear when I'm there...she takes care of me...and even allows my puppy to come inside when we are waiting for a long period of time...with dog treats behind the counter...
and they've been so good at getting my car back on the road in a pinch...seeing as how i live in cincinnati and don't trust people up here to work on my cars anymore...i got taken once...and that's all it took
