Does anyone know what the route at Torrent right of Paranoia is?
I'm not talking about Hydro Shock or Torrential. The one with the fixed chain draws.
Also, anyone know who got the FA on Torrential and why it sucks so bad (so goes the rumor)?
Thanks,
Bob Hope

1 The route next to hydroshock is called "Into the Mystic" it is rated something like 5.12d/13a (long, pumpy, mid-section is far from perfect rock-yet makes it interesting  , bouldery finish, which will be harder relative to heigth.

2. I believe the french guys who did the Via ferrate (sp) for Mark put up the two 5.8's by Wadcutter.

3. Terry put up most or all of the 5.10's on the far left.
5.9+
5.10 b
5.10 ?
5.10 d
5.10 ?

All these routes are good.

4. The new routes on the far right are as follows:

"Us and Them" 5.11d/ 5.12a left of Delboy pretty good
"GG US" 5.11b/c past waterfall pretty good
"Onaconaronei" 5.11d center route very good
"Whoosier Buddies?" 5.11c right pretty
good

The trail to the last three routes was basically removed during the earth work for the new cabin. I believe that this will be worked (the trail) on next spring?

5. There are three more sport routes past these, around two corners (apprx. 100 feet) and also two cracks, one with anchors that probably need replaced. It is thought the jeff moll, put these up in the early 90's. No names known, but the grades are around 5.11+ for each?

6. Have a good day

7. G- Your smoking does not bother me that much (thats not me), but it may some people?
