Christmas shoppers suck

I hate to shop. It's all bad.

Despite that fact, I was in a cheery mood - getting gifts for my children. I was in Kohl's, it was packed. I parked my little buggy contraption next to a table right behind me to look at something and as I turned around some woman was taking my items out and tossing them as she rolled my buggy away. I grabbed my stuff, tapped her on the shoulder and said, "um, excuse me, but I am using that cart." I was too stunned to be even mildly annoyed or pissed. She said, "oh, I figured no one was using it" took her stuff and walked off. I couldn't have had my hand off of it for 2 seconds when she took it.

I'm damn glad that people like this don't climb!

And then there's the people in the parking lots...!! Thank dog for e-commerce.

maybe we should hire some ninja's and cop's to kill the annoying christmas shoppers. then we can do a head count of killed shoppers and be able settle the ninja vs. cop debate once and for all!

just a thought.

Open season on Christmas shoppers.Maybe some of those bell ringing fat guys in red suits will get caught in the crossfire.and thier drunken elves too.If I didn't have so many kids I could hate Christmas, but I don't.I am off with pay that day.

It is a hectic time of the year for sure. Jill and I had to venture out over the weekend to take care of some stuff before we go on vacation. The service was so bad at Lazurus we just walked away when the guy at the counter was rude.
The KEY to shopping is to go on a Monday night around 7. No one wants to shop on a Monday. They are tired from the weekend of shopping and they have just finished a Monday 'back at the grind'. So go out and have fun on the weekend away from the malls, strip plazas and stores and when Monday night rolls around you'll have those places almost to yourself. Crowds pick up a little more the closer you get to Christmas, but it is still the best time to shop.

I really can't shop anywhere but online. I would flip my lid and beat someone to death with a roll of wrapping paper. I swear, if I see one more person with their wide arse standing RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ISLE, it's over.

AMEN!! I freakin hate shopping to begin with but at the holidays and I am a maniac. I get all closterphobic amongst all of the rude/irritating completely aimless walking idiots that I have to stay away from the scene for my own sanity! Best time to shop is LATE in the day.

amazon.com is my salvation except that they ship UPS and I'm never home so I have to re-arrange my schedule to get my packages. That's a lot better than the mall though.

Yeah, UPS is a tad inconvenient, but I just try to keep track of my pkg on the net. Then, the day after it gets there I just tell them to hold it and I go pick it up myself. I wish they did what Fed Ex does and return their trucks to the hub BEFORE closing time so you can pick it up the same day.

Have you all noticed what I'm calling the 'Wal-Mart Syndrome'? If you are familiar with the Wal-mart on Richmond Rd than you know what I'm about to bitch about. That place stuff merchandise anywhere they can. That store has crap up and down the aisles and is always a freakin' mess. The Home Depot on Richmond Rd is like this too, but I think that management doesn't really care about the state of that store since they are in a lawsuit and might have to tear the whole thing down. Now Lazurus is suffering from the Wal-Mart Syndrome. You can't navigate thru the that store for all the crap pouring out into the aisle, and try walking thru the mall entrance and you get bombarded by women in white coats trying to spray smelly water on you.
Jill and I are doing our Christmas shopping in Key West.
