Hey guys,

I'm going to be heading down the the Red this weekend. Unfortunately it seems that the forecast (for now) is calling for rain.

What are some good places to climb that will stay slightly more dry? My partner and I both lead around 5.9 (.8's and .10's are both welcome). We're mainly looking for sport routes, not trad.

Thanks!

Use the search feature of the online guide book. There are a couple 5.9 and under routes that stay dry, but not many. 5.10 is where you start getting in to more overhanging stuff.

Some of the stuff at Torrent Falls will stay pretty dry. There's a lot of 5.10-11 out there, but Dream of a Bee (5.8) and Wadcutter (5.9+) should stay reasonably dry unless it's really pouring.

Good have good safe fun =)

be careful on Wadcutter in the rain. i am a pretty solid .11 leader and i had the shit scared out of me on Wadcutter cause the last 3 or 4 moves were drenched, including the clipping jug. just be careful on it.

the 10 wall at roadside is a standard spot, driveby is generally good as well. but ask the the sloth for the sloth doth know all.
