Hand Pain

Post by Jonathan »

In between burns at the gym last night I grabbed one of the topropes and pulled myself up off the floor. I instantly felt a sharp pain in my right hand. The pain feels like it’s between my ring and pinky finger bones, the pain also trails down my wrist. Has anyone ever heard of or experienced this? What’s the best way to fix/heal it?

Nevermind. My hand turned black over the weekend and they had to amputate. Thanks for the concern though.

Actually, I managed to get a nerve pinched in one of the knuckle joints. I climbed on it this weekend and must have worked it out (or completely killed it), because the pain is starting to subside. I talked to a friend who's been in the game for about 20 years, he said he's had it happen a couple of times too.

yeti.
don't take a lack of response for no one caring. i think you've just broken a record of some sort in having an injury on here that no one had ever had before and thus had nothing to say about it.
congrats!
