Funny, I had teachers using this philosophy in elementary school in the early 80's. Several of my teachers never used red. Most of my shit in high school was graded in black.
The theory of evolution is just as stupid as the theories of gravity and electromagnetism.

Ha! They think that's stressful?? When I was in college I had a professor that would grade papers with comments like: "What Nonsense!" and "Fool!"
No chalkbag since 1995.

That is rediculous. Kids are not tough enough anymore. I say get rid of the woodchips and bring back the cemented playground too. Kids were a lot tougher before the woodchips. And they learned not to bite it real quick. Purple pen my ass

Throw out those stupid helmets as well. They cause more injuries than help.

i got an e-mail about this not long ago. kids get trophies for competing, can anonymously pirate music rather than steal it, have "woodchip" playgrounds, and skin freindly bandages. it was hilarious i'll try and find it. the whole walk uphill both ways to school speech for twenty somethings.

I use blue pens to grade. Personal preference.
I've had just about enough of this shit.

I think I'll start my own private school. I'll call it "Crack the Whip Academy," where corporal punishment is freely employed. These parents today aren't doing their kid a service by bailing them out of every problem they get into. Red ink??? SUCK IT UP.

first i would like to tell you how much you mean to everyone, rick. you're a special guy and have made such a difference. we all appreciate you for who you are don't want you to change a bit, despite your violent tantrums and poor performance on examinations. i was thinking, and you don't have to at all, but maybe the spelling "friendly" would look prettier..? but i don't want you to stop thinking of new and creative ways to spell common everyday words. how about we take a break from learning and all talk about how we feel and then we can hug. everyone's feelings are good, even if jimmy hit sally the other day, he was expressing himself in a meaningful way. that's good. hug time jimmy.. now, let's go eat lunch, load your small bodies with sick amounts of sugar, and destine you all to have diabetes so that later you can sue the sugar producers of the south pacific so that you can live life without ever having to sacrifice anything to get what you want.. have your cake and eat it, too!

rickardodaniel i'm not knocking you at all, i'm making fun of how things seem to be anymore (granted, i exaggerated it all terribly)

LOL... Classic... That's not too far from how it really is. That's how most parents that I've encountered would like for you to speak to their students.
