anybody had a chance to use the new extendo cams by omega pacific? Another company has one, with three axles. Has anybody even seen these? (other than pictures)
The OP design looks horrible (but so is most of their stuff) but the other one looks cool.

They seem kinda silly to me, but then, I have rigid stem friends and dual stem camalots on my rack still...

IF you want good cams get the new max cams. My wife bought me two full sets as a gift.!!!
Talk about awesome!! Sweet smooth action, really light and a range that will eliminate doublin and tripling up on certain numbers!! Cut my rack in half with those, buy weight too!! God bless her, or maybe she is hoping i will fall and deck and then she can collect the life insurance policy. HMMMMMMM I might have some nice new cams for sale soon!

The OP Link cams arn't bad, I got a pair, we will see how they stand up, I could see them getting pretty rickety pretty fast. I haven;t used the Max cams, but I had a chance to check oput the blue prints, they look sweet, great range, and pretty dang lite considering the range, I guess I should order one and play with it... but I really don't need anymore stuff to move 2500 miles...

I got to play with the Trango ones last year at the NRG Rendezvous... pretty cool looking, but I didn't actually get to place the gear, just look/play in a tent.
There's alot of movement in them... seems like you'd have to be very careful to keep them clean.

I think these would be great for OW, if the cams are big enough. Just think of how much further you could walk with this thing!
