hey everyone, i could use your help. now that wes and i are back in lexington it is time to return to "reality" and we are in the market for an apartment. if anyone happens to know of a place in a decent area and is in the $300-$450 range let me know. we went looking around the chevy chase area today and there seems to be very little out there. i am also looking for a car or small truck. i'm not too too picky as long as it is automatic (though i could learn stick) and runs well. thanks a bunch! and hope to see you all at the christmas party!

Pick up a copy of the KY Kernel (UK student newspaper). Keep your eyes peeled around campus area, near the end of the semester there is a turnover. Also try the Romany Rd / Duke Dr area as there is some rental property w/in walking distance of a Greater's (thats ice cream by the way)! Jill used to have a great loft over on Kingswood, there is a lot of rental property in the back of the Fairway neighborhood. Wes knows the town so ya'll should be ok. If not I guess you could camp in our backyard, and call it Miguel's north....we don't make pizza though.
For better or worse I seem to know about a lot of rental property from my years of looking and signs still catch my eye even though I own a freakin' house.

What's up with Chevy Chase? Everything in Arlington is named after him, too. Is this a different Chevy Chase, or did they really name a bank after an actor? Did I miss something in my American History? I don't get it.

well wes and i now have a place to call our own. we got a cute little studio right across from the UK library on woodland. the price was right and it has a dishwasher which we are stoked on, believe me it takes very little to get us excited these days  anyway i am still looking for a car (by the way i have a drivers license already) but i can't really make payments on something so i am looking to buy something outright in the under $1000 range i realize that means i might be stuck with a 83 civic with a million miles but as long as it gets me from point A to point B i don't really care.

I have a 91 Nissan Sentra that I'd sell ya for $500 bucks. It's a standard though.
