meadows, this has to be the most honest dialogue known to the human race...every single one of us has this spray list bottled up inside of us, but the climbing community has told us it is bad karma to even mention it. spray away friends..and make sure to give us the grades, cause we all know you want to.....
imagine sending your hardest to date, and a word was never spoken to anyone about it...the shine would be a bit less, I am guessing...so step right up, and proudly pronounce what you are going to send this year. no one really cares anyway, but you sure as tootin' will feel better.

I had my first 5.9 lead Sunday.
Please. Tell me how pathetic I am. I'm almost 40 and started climbing less than 2 years ago. If I'd started doing this when I was your age I would've [edited because it was awful]... whoa! That's awful. I'd never do anything like that.
My one hang route is Wadcutter which I will send this year on lead. I'm not even sure I care all that much so I could care less what you or anyone else thinks about it. But I like being in good shape and doing athletic things outside and climbing is the tits so I'm going to keep doing it, belittlement be damned!
That's right. I'm the hardest 39yo pulling down 5.9 in my neighborhood! Woo Hoo!!!

Still Pig, we need a classification. I mean, Artsay came up with "sneaky spray" for inadvertently advertently mentioning your send. This is our chance for innovation in climbing linguistics!

yo alan, you have one year on me, so don't even begin to use the age factor..
on this thread, you are king, because spraying is the bomb. all 'almost sends" are welcome, because keeping it real is much better than those 5.12 schmucks who belittle our accomplishments, but then swill beer all evening at Miquel's just waiting for someone to mention their heroic 1,456th ascent of Tissue Tiger...then they can downplay it, all the while hoping others keep it alive so that righteous prana wearing babe over in the drum circle will catch wind of their shit that don't stink...
