The new guide preview looks really good, I am exctied for the new book. Will production on this book be held until developedment at muir valley and other new areas slows down?

I'm trying to decide which I want to pre-order more, Harry Potter 6 or the New RRG Guide!

I'm giving Muir a cutoff date of April 15th which cuts it pretty close to my deadline. This is so Jared and gang can have time to go crazy.

Woo hoo!!!

I'm taking this weekend off to be at my nephew's birthday party, but we'll be back next weekend and hopefully there will be 4 or 5 new routes each weekend. Oh yeah, I won't be able to do anything Easter weekend either. Damn. Hopefully we will still be able to work 4 or 5 more weekends and add about 20-30 more routes... then we will probably start working on new walls in other hollows. There is some amazing stuff out there that we haven't even touched yet. Karla, J.J., Tim, Mike, Greg, and others will probably be adding several fine lines also! The more the merrier!

This machine needed an oil change... Thank goodness we had the last weekend off! I think we're ready for another weekend in Muir, though! :)

All routes that go up at Muir Valley needs Tim Powers' (tbone) approval. He can be pm'd here or for more info, check out www.muirvalley.com

It's about 50% about weather, imo. Usually it depends more on the motivation level of the bolters. There are beatiful sunny days when we only put up one route, and there are cold and bitter weekends when we've put up four.

Just pm Tbone; I've never heard of him turning down any decent request for new routes in the Valley.

Just to clarify "decent request"...

Tim and the owners allow only experienced route developers who are expert climbers to put up routes. If you don't have the necessary experience, you are still more than welcome to work along side some of the "old guard" bolters down here and be part of the first ascension team on new routes. That's the best way to gain the experience, and it's free! All they need is your sweat. Bring a wire brush and join in!

You all down at Muir are so cool. I'd like to tag up with someone to learn the fine art of bolting. If by a miracle I get a weekend off, I would love to hook up with you guys.
