Has anyone done or attempted this route? It sounds great (except for the "X" rating). What is X about it?

Johnny always tells me that r means fun and x means really fun.

I've found the route, but never climbed it. I recall that it didn't look X at all from the ground. Maybe R at the most. The rock quality wasn't superb looking. Didn't look 11b either. If it were just Greg Smith on the FA I'd be scared. Since Hackworth was on it too (and I'm relying on his assessment) I'd say it's not that hard, not quite so scary, and not really that much fun.

There is a really cool dihedral to the left that is mentioned in the description for Heavy Mental that looks better than the other routes there. Its wide.

Looked at it today. Looks crazy.

Ran into some horseback riders there. Think they were a deaf/mute clan. I said, "How are you guys doing?" and they just stared at me. Wish I'd had my gun.

The first time I saw this route I thought it was X rated for the second half (easy, but slabby) but after looking at it today decided that the starte and initial dihedral is pretty serious too.
