Maizy

Post by Artsay »

Maizy was a well known member of the climbing community. Known as "The Regulator", she was always ready to control the other dogs at the cliff with her commanding woofs and calm their play. She was both a kind hearted animal and one with an amazing sense of humor.

She had caner removed twice on her front leg and knee arthritis in both back knees. So with one good leg it was a surprise she could get around at all. But she did. She was very happy and not one to ever complain. She wore a smile on her face throughout her days.

Maizy had bladder cancer and these past three months have been a battle of love. Though chomotherapy kept her with us a few extra weeks, she finally passed in her sleep last night.

I love you and miss you, my Maizy girl.
I'll see you later at Rainbow Bridge...

Artsay, I'm so sorry! At least her passing was peaceful in an environment that was comforting to her (at home). She was lucky to be with you for so many years as you were lucky to have her.
