my girlfriends dog fell off the ledge at the base of jump for joy. He has a broken elbow and the bills are racking up. i'm selling my rack. all the gear has seen minimal use and has never been mistreated nor has any of it ever seen a lead fall.

dude can't you work out something with your vet? i have six cats and they always have stuff go on. sometimes vets will let you pay a little at a time. dont sell your rack man.

i just moved to louisville a little over a week ago. he doesn't even have a vet yet. i took him to a guy in winchester who sedated him and applied a support bandage but then sent me to louisville to find a vet who could be involved with the process all the way through. nobody would help me today unless i had cash or credit card. i just don't know what else to do. he's going to have a screw put in his elbow moday morning and it will cost almost $2000. i believe today was the single most expensive day of climbing since i started 3 years ago. i didn't even get to chalk up. it was more like hiking around with climbing gear.

dude i know how you feel. have had some crappy days lately myself. it gets better. have you talked to vets at a place called jefferson east? sometimes they have worked out things with us - but then again we go there a lot too. if you gotta sell you can hook up with me and climb some things. am planning to be there a lot this spring and summer. like to climb trad too.

He is in Lexington, but Dr. Hume might be able to help out with at least his standard climbers discount. Maybe worth a try and a drive to Lexington. North Lexington vet clinic.
Bummer about you day, hope it all works out for you.

He'll pay for the dog and then she'll dump him. No dog, no gear, no girlfriend.
