How many of you repeat a climb once you've redpointed or even onsighted it?
I personally like to climb anything and everything, even if I've done it before, but I know a lot of people who are afraid to repeat a climb they've already done, especially nearing their limit because they are afraid of falling off of it after they sent it in the past.

For me, if it is a quality climb, I will definitely want to get back on it. Many times I will see a little bit different sequence that flows more. After doing a route several times, I find a certain satisfaction in having a route "dialed".

I typically won't get back on my hardest sends....I like to live in that glory moment, and flailing now will ruin it. besides, there are so many new routes to get on that have super moves..why not make all my vibes positive?
come to think of it, after I have failed to send some hard stuuf, I probably won't get on it either..I try to let those go, and move on.

Positive vibes brah...positive vibes.
Most climbs at this point in my climbing career are well worth doing again and again and again. It does suck when you flail on something you've sent or even worse, flashed/onsighted. It's just climbing, have fun (words I tend to forget often).

I have found it satisfing to get old projects wired, everytime i go to a certain crag there are most do routes. Evertime I go to Roadside I have to get on Stay, evertime I go to Left Flank I have to get on Wild yet and or Too many puppies.
But the real hard sends...I don't repeat them..not yet

The worst is when you invaildate your send of a problem by jumping right back on it, and then failing to send. Even better is when you send something first try, then can't do it again...
I like to get back on stuff that I have done, but usually after a bit of time has gone by.

Yeah...even though I sent that 5.7 at the gym a couple weeks ago...I keep getting back on it. I flail around on that one jug though. Shoulda just stayed off it after I nailed that bad boy.
I've never had any hard sends. I can only TR .10's on a good day.
