If you can get onto rc.com there was a big how to on how to make copper, aluma, and circle heads. If I remember right (and I might not be) it isn't cost effective unless you make about a hundred.
And have you tried calling up 5.10 and asking? They just might sell you some.

lordjim, you mean the post with a bunch of photos as detailed illustrations, right?

good luck getting onto rc.com
for what it's worth, i remember (i could be wrong) the same thing about the cost effectiveness of the DIY method.

you need the press and it is definetly not worth doing unless you are doing more than 100. Even then you might not break even then if you had bought the copperheads individually. It's rewarding though if you're into that sort of thing.

it seems cool. and there is definitely a market for them in camp 4, so i believe it would pay for itself.

If you are looking for a nicopress check out ebay, they have new ones for $45.00 plus $13.00 for shipping. I'm not sure if its the size you need but just FYI. Make sure you get the real deal, those cheap imitations suck. You might want to get set up for making Camalot trigger wires while you are at it.
I'm way jealous of you hangin' in the Valley all summer!

Lets see: resoling shoes, making copper heads, fixing cam triggers. If you add reslinging cams there you would be set for a summer of Camp 4 living and making some cash.
