For those that are lazy like me the testing appears to be for Evolv's AGRO model, their overhanging steep route shoe.

:D lordjim, they are testing for all shoe types.... they are just warning people that if you pick the agro as a test shoe that you should be aware that it's a downturned shoe - good for steep but not for slab or vertical.

I wonder if they are doing this because thier shoes fall apart after a couple months of use? I have had two pairs of Kaos, and the toe rand to sole area keeps falling apart. Granted, I don't have the best footwork, and I do toe hook a bit, but this will be the last pair I buy. Back to my Katana's, although I really like how the Kaos fits and climbs.

Evolv has a "Delamination free guarantee" on their shoes. If this is what's happening then let them know. If you decide to give up on them let Evlov know so they can make better shoes (also let me know what size you wear so I can buy them off of you if they fit).

I've been using my Athenas every weekend since July, and they're still in great shape. I plan on sticking with those.

Thanks to lordjim2001, I now feel that need to add that the "Same here" part of my response wasn not in any way a reply to "Well slap my ass and call me Shirley," and was not an invitation to do so.
