The Perfect Rack?
The Perfect Rack?
I've had just about enough of this shit.
Why criticize it? It is what it is, a nice comparison of available data. It's just a chart using numbers. If it was a confession of how such and such a piece always seems to hold on falls or whatever it wouldn't be data it would be... a... confession. If you know how to read this thing you know how to use it in buying equipment. If you prefer to base your decisions on belief... sure, go ahead. I just hope when you take that massive whipper your piece holds. And that goes for all of you.

That's good info. But the quality that contributes 87.4% to what I choose in a cam is how easy it is to place. It is usually (especially on onsight) a matter of getting the fucker in the right place before you pump out. I don't really give a hoot if the cam can hold an extra k-newton if I'm desparate to save my ass and get on with the program. A lot of it is getting familiar with a particular piece of gear regarless of the name. That being said, I think I'm becoming a major pussy and can't climb worth a damn. The main parameter in gear is the brain that is installing it. If your brain is fucked, there you go.
