Anyone ever been to the Skegg Wall off the Pine Mountain Trail? Directions? How far a hike is it to the wall?

Can you climb here? It looks like Pine Mountain Trail crosses both state and federal lands. The state land appears to be closed to climbing according to this site I found....

I'm guessing that the federal land might be open for climbing?

From what I understand it's climbable and legal to climb there, but it's a really tough approach. About five miles from the trail head and straight up. I may check it out this weekend if it rains... again.

The Pine Mountain region is loaded with high quality rock that has seen little to no development. Does anyone know of existing routes?
Many areas would undoubtedly be open to climbing for those willing to put in the time. If anyone is interested in exploring the area let me know...I have a good amount of back-country development under my belt.
A serious effort to secure access and develop this extensive area would yeild hundreds of high quality routes adding another significant climbing destination in KY.

It doesn't look like the site I posted is necessarily up to date - but at it clarifies where these place are. I hope its not since it says climbing is off limits.
