It's a good thing there's only one bald guy climbing in the Red during the winter.

:) (Note that the smiley emoticon is bald, thereby proving bald guys are the BEST.)

I think you should join us Alan... we can have like a bald guy support group. I have to admit though, that I'm not actually bald... just closely cropped.

Lucky you. [where is that damned "flipping off" emoticon?] I've got this damned cueball thing going on. I guess it's kind of perverse justice as until I was 27 I had around 2' of hair. One day I was buying cigarettes at a convenient store and glanced up at the monitor to see this glaring baldspot on the guy standing there... and realized the camera was behind and above me. The next day I shaved my head bald and barely grew more than fuzz back for years. Now I keep what's left very short or, during the summer, I'll shave it all but a little ponytail in the back. I call it a ninja ponytail because I'm sort of a pathetic geek.

I'd absolutely love to come out climbing tomorrow but I can't go until Saturday. Plus you guys climb like three number grades better than me. It would be a day of belaying and falling off the first move for me. :)

I do think a "bald day out" would make for some fun photography. Maybe this spring we should try to gather all shiney headed climbers at some crag and get a lot of photographs from above of everyone. We should make a point of inviting all those guys in denial so they can get a really good look at their bald spots.
