Plastic paradise

Just pulled through a long problem on my climbing wall that I've been working for two months. It goes about 48 foot consisting of two laps on the overhanging part and it gets progressively harder. I've had a big piece of tape to mark how far I've gotten on it, and the tape kept moving further and further until I nailed it.

It's easy to make fun of plastic, especially compared to the grace and beauty of real rock, but sending that problem felt just as good as a lot of redpoints in the Gorge. WAHOOO!!

Nice job. I just came from the gym. My foot is still a little bit sore so I campused the overhanging lead wall 10 times. It was much better than laying around feeling sorry for myself.

I saw that injury you got, Jared. Glad you are doing better. I wish I could do the campus thing, but too much foot-swinging and my shoulders and elbows feel like they are on fire. I learned about 3 months ago that I need to keep my feet on my wall when I'm training. That doesn't mean I can't occasionally do it, but doing it in reps is a no-no for me.
