HA! Another hippie! :-) Louisville has a pretty good NPR station that has streaming audio, at http://www.wfpk.org/ click on 'listen live.' They have a varying format, Jazz from 12-3 pm but not my kind of jazz. Mornings and afternoons are great 'Adult Alternative' - definitely a spectrum of music. You'll hear Phish, etc, but also Steve Earle, Beth Orton, and Mark Knopfler.

I usually have it on wdvx.com out of clinton,tn. its mostly bluegrass. its a cool downhome station, they broadcast out of a trailer. you should give it a try if you like bluegrass. then other times i have it on knac.com , mostly metal. My taste in music changes by the minute. Im in a jam band mood today and dont have my cd's at work ahhhhhh. I will give the louisville station a try. thank ya big un

97X out of Oxford Ohio has been going strong for years with alternative music. Not much Phish I don't think, but not a bad station.

You know, from the Rainman movie..."97X........BAM.......the future of rock and roll.

The got a new DJ recently who sounds like a total fag though, and I tune out from time to time because his vioce is pretty irritating.
