partner(s) at Rock Quest for 8/10

Post by Rain Man »

So SikMonkey says (and I agree) that I need to spend more time on long, overhanging jug-hauls to build my endurance. Since I'm "checked out" to lead at Rock Quest, I figured I'd see if any of you folks that go there would be interested in climbing with me next Tuesday at said location. The time does not matter, as I am currently without a job and waiting for classes to start (though, if I can avoid rush hour coming from KY, I'd like to). Drop a reply here, if you want others to know/join us, or just PM me.

Oh, I weigh about 225lbs, so be prepared to go for a ride.

Well, we both know how well that same situation has worked out at CT, so that's irrelevant now. :)

That, and my climbing days are T-Th-Su (or Sa if I'm in Lex with Sik)

So, putting my personal life (or lack thereof) aside, I still haven't heard if someone wants to climb on Tuesday. I won't just show up at RQ and hope to find soeone to belay me while leading, so if I don't hear an affirmative, I'll just boulder at CT. I know LLR said Wednesday might be a better night, but if I climb plastic on Wed, I won't be able to climb again on Thursday, because the skin on my hands gets too torn up on plastic. And Friday is out, because it will mess with my Red plans that weekend. So, basically, Tuesday or Thursday are the only days I can meet someone at RQ.
