Problem with "View Posts since Last Visit"

Recently when I log in I find that my "View Posts" is set to 0 but when I look through the forum, I find many new posts even on threads I've been watching. I changed my password, but the problem still persists. I thought it was a case where I missed the posts, but I've been testing it by watching certain threads. What's up? Do you know?

J-Rock's been having kinda the same problem. One time, it showed that he has 21 new posts to read and yet when he clicks on the link, it says Your search has met no criteria or something like that.

I keep telling him to just browse on the Forum page and judge it by the date and time. Didn't know some other people were having problems too...

It sounds like a problem with the cookies. What setting are you using on IE? And have you changed them lately due the the IE security holes?

Or, do the better thing and use firefox, like I do...

You don't want us to go there on your problems, Dhoyne.

You really should check out firefox. I think it is much better, and it is much safer then IE. Plus, you can put it down on your "Cool kids" applcation.

You mean, "Super Nerd" application?

Try the following:
1) Log out of the board
2) Delete the redriverclimbing cookie (user@www.redriverclimbing[#].txt). Just do a search for the "cookies" directory. Should be under Documents and Settings.
3) Log back in.
