Climbing Turtle

Post by GWG »

Here is the link to the picture of the climbing turtle at our house. What about that left leg extension.

He ended up climbing about 3' up before falling back. After that, we kept a pile of leaves for him to fall into.

wow, how did you lure him up there?? VERY cool turtle. You know they symbolize "moving forward" because they can't go backwards?? great thing to remember in life, I think...

There was no luring involved. My son saw him up there and ran to get me. Once he fell, he rolled back over, walked up and started climbing again. There are now a couple of large rocks in their pen what occasionally, they will crawl up on.

that is too cool. I love turtles. Had one when I was little and it was a digging genious. He got out of things we never thought possible. Finally took him back to the woods were he belonged, but have always liked turtles since then.

What would you rate that climb he was doing? hahaha

That's crazy. I once found a turtle on the upper tier of Fortress and wondered how he got up there. I always though it was some kind of joke.

According to the Native Americans turtles are also symbolic of healing.
