I hope I'm not making any false accusations here but does anyone remember ClimberX from the old bbs days? The guy who lied about anything and everything?

Anyway, I'm thinking that this daggerx dude is him. I check the spray lists every once in awhile just to be sure the stats are staying real and I saw this dude's list. He had some hard shit on there which I found hard to believe.

Hidden Dragon
Table of Colors
The Legend
Mr. Get It On Jones
Til the Cows Come Home (!!!)

This is the same guy who said he did laps on Scabies to train and that his favorite routes were Creature Feature and To Defy The Laws of Tradition.

So I questioned him, he said it was for real. I didn't believe him so I deleted the routes from his list. I just don't like false info in the guide.
I hope I didn't make a mistake and that this guy is actually a pretty good climber and I'm being a complete asshole. So to be sure, I'm just wondering if anyone knows this dude.

I'll apologize my ass off if this is someone completely different than the old ClimberX asshole the "old school" bbs people know.

Here is his answer to a question on rc.com about "What was your highlight of 2003?"

His response:
<snip>
Freeing welcome to ole kentuck in the red.

DX
</snip>

Now, something like that wouldn't have gone unheard. I don't care how ninja and stealth of a climber you are.

Yet...

This was written by DaggerX (he lists the same email address on that site as the one used for his login on this board) on rockclimbing.com in Jan, 2002. Hmmm.....
"I have climbed Welcome to ole kentuck5.13a,skin boat 5.13a, table of colors 5.13b a a couple more ,what have you climbed or shall I assume you dont know the name because you have not climbed them."

Too funny...
He totally admitted to not climbing it via PM.

Ya know, I could care less if someone wants to lie about their achievements. It's their own conscience. What gets me is that by spraying about doing an impressive send like WOK, it discredits the achievements of those that DID send it. That's just wrong to me.

Ask him for pictures or video... these days that should not be too hard to come by especially if your sending 13a trad routes.

Furthermore, I've never even been to Red River Gorge... I'm a troll and have now sent the hardest troll grade of T5+. Please delete my account.

Yep, he would make up new user IDs on kywilderness.com and mis-spell his intrests the same way, and/or use the same email address.

Use you delusions...

How could someone lie about WOK when I thought it was just WIDELY publicized (wasn't it in a magazine, or something?) that HF actually got the first official placing gear redpoint of it just recently? Did I misread all the fan-fare about HF and his effort? I understand "different strokes...folks" as some will TR a route and that's what they want, where as I won't post something unless I lead it (trad routes are different, because I don't lead trad, yet), but lieing about a route as widely known as WOK is ASKING to be caught, isn't it?
