Moral Dilemnas

I have friend who told me that moral dilemnas are a sign of healthy spirtuality.
This is a moral dilemna I have been having recently:

All of my dress shoes have holes worn in the soles. My profession requires, at the very least, that dress shoes are worn in court.
I have 2 pair of climbing shoes that need to be resoled(La Sportiva Enduros and 5.10 Spires). I currently climb in my xrays but I know they will wear out soon.
Repairs for both climbing shoes and dress shoes are about the same per shoe.
The only time the holes in my dress shoes bother me is when it rains.
I can't afford to repair both climbing and dress shoes right now.
Please comment on this current dilemna or share a dilemna of your own. 8)

Go to Goodwill and get two more pair of dress shoes for $5 each and donate your old ones.
Since thrift stores usually don't carry climbing shoes, you can then justify getting your climbing shoes resoled with the money you saved!

go to goodwill and buy new/used dress shoes and then sell your old climbing shoes and with that money buy a better pair of climbing shoes :D

Here's some choices:

1. Resole your dress shoes with Stealth/C4.

2. Never work when it rains.

3. Steal some dress shoes.

4. Steal some climbing shoes.

5. While at work, only shuffle your feet so your soles don't show. Tell everyone that asks that you are recovering from a stroke. When they ask if there is anything they can do, get them to donate you some money (so you can resole your climbing shoes and your dress shoes). Then, return to your normal gait, and tell them the money allowed you to get the medical treatment you needed for a full recovery. Begin a chain email with your miracle story.

Go have a seat in your boss's office, put your feet up on his desk, and ask for a raise. Bonus points for pictures of hungry looking children. I'm a firm believer that any workplace with a dress code should be paying accordingly!

Look for some of those rubber overshoes. They might cramp your style a little bit, but are probably cheaper that resoling your dress shoes.
As a plus, they can keep salt and snow off in the winter!

The old college drinking moeny plan, sell your plasma. I think you can go like 3 times per month and you get some decent $ for it. Each trip should be able to pay for one shoe.

Or sell some sperm.

I'm with Johnny on just resoling the dress shoes with Stealth/C4 --- then you can climb in style, maybe start a new fad in climbing shoes...name the fad after yourself, trademark it and totally bank on it then you will never have to worry about a moral decision of this type again....
