Has Pusher gone out of business?

I tried to log onto pusher.com today and they were thanking people for past support and saying that they aren't taking orders anymore. I wonder what's up. Their products were great but their customer service and shipping in particular were awful - I wonder if this is what caused them to close shop- if in fact they have closed, that is.

No one really knows. I asked Marc (gearexpress) and they speculate that Pusher just went out of business largely due to their reputation for bad customer service.

The other guess was that they had a re-organization or re-structuring... came out with a new name (Revolution Climbing) and is now focusing more on bouldering...

Holy crap! If I could only pull on one brand of plastic, it would be Pusher! Their molds would be worth a lot. I hope they don't get scrapped.

First climbXmedia, now Pusher. Having that much great bouldering around SLC seems to be the kiss of death to a climbing company!

If they did go out of business, i would bet it is because Mike Uchitel [edited potentially liabelous information] away all the money they made and can't afford to keep the company anymore. ImageImage to him

<----

They had some of the coolest holds and were way out in front of everybody in their product development for a long time - I wonder what will happen to s7, cordless, etc now?

I asked around at the gym last night if they heard anything and it seems like s7, Cordless and Pusher all merged into Revolution Climbing.

If you check out their website, some of the holds are still about the same/looked the same (at least the ones that has pictures).

I think that Pusher gets so backed up that they stop taking orders so they can catch up. Your right though their products are great but the customer service sucks.
