With gas prices so high, anyone know where to find the best gas deals?
I see Kroger in Stanton (1.71 per gallon) as the cheapest... but am all ears for better.

Kroger in Stanton is definitely the cheapest. Sometimes its a little cheaper in Camargo and Jeffersonville. But lately Kroger has been considerably cheaper than everywhere else.

I wish I could find it for $1.80 here in Louisville. The prices in Jefferson and Oldham counties are always about $.10 -$.15 higher than the surrounding counties. Bunch of price gouging, money hungry, greedy, etc, etc, etc . . .
Thanks Vic, now you got me started again!

The best deal out there is found every time I fill my hybrid gas-electric civic. When you get 40-50mpg, gas prices are in effect, cut in half.

Roentgen Ray, do you really have a hybrid? Do you have trouble finding a mechanic to work on it? I just wonder if the whole hybrid thing is cost effective yet.
There are some web sites that list gas prices in local areas, but I don't remember the address.

I'll bet that, being a Honda, it won't need work for a while.

Yeah, Ray! I want to know too! I want a hybrid Hilander next year, but I would like to know how well the hybrids function mechanically. I'm thinking of waiting until the second year to allow for kink purge.

For those interested...
You can currently get 1.84 per gallon at Thorton (located just off of Circle 4 near P Gall's)
