Starbucks Sucks

Starbuck's coffee is overpriced motor oil. I got a cup at the travel plaza on the WV Turnpike. Took a sip and couldn't drink it. Now, I drink a lot of coffee including espresso, etc. I asked the lady if she could add a little water to weaken it a little. She copped a huge attitude and said they aren't allowed to tamper with the product. I said, "I'm not asking you to tamper with it, for cryin' out loud. Just add a little water." "Sorry sir, company policy does not allow it." What the frig? I walked to the trash can and ceremoneously poured out the treasured product, while staring at the lady. I told her I'm going to Burger King for a cup of Maxwell House. The bitch.

first of all, she works for the travel plaza, so she should do whatever she wants, i.e. put some water in for you. second of all, since it was "starbucks" coffee, but made at the travel plaza, who knows, I bet they DID tamper with the product before you even got it. Lastly, why didn't you put some water in yourself?? just curious

I became enraged and didn't think about it. I guess I was trying to make a point (a three dollar point). I don't even care for the coffee.

hey, we all get swept up in emotion sometimes, hell, my boyfriend dumped out a perfectly good soy chai latte, whip cream, no added water, just because I said something stupid. oh well, we've worked it out

First of all, Starbucks coffee tastes bitter. For their regular I believe they use a French Roast that has a lot of chicaree in it. Ugh.
Second of all, what happened to the customer always being right?
Third of all, maybe Travel Plaza has a funky policy but if you asked for the alteration then she isn't tampering with the drink before you got it, you are after you had already paid for it.
Oh no, you've really learned your lesson and will take the coffee you buy how they tell you to drink it.
Sometimes service people need to take a course on what they really are there to do.

My first wife used to throw big glass ashtrays at me.She was a terrible aim.
the only casualties were a window and a TV.
